Keeping the good vibes going. While La Union’s favourite craft cocktail bar, The Shrine of Satisfaction undergoes some upgrades, the bar staff have taken over the cafe bar of El Union Coffee downstairs.
Along with this move comes a fresh menu piloting draft-style fresh cocktails, reminiscent of Hong Kong and Taipei’s famous Draft Land bars (@draftland / @draftlandhk). Exhibit A is this fresh and house made pineapple soda, paired with a white rum distilled and bottled right here in the Philippines, and tired with a garnish of aromatic dehydrated fruit. It’s a fully Filipino beverage that slots in perfectly to the smell of the the ocean and the dried anahaw leaf roofs.
We’re excited to see Shrine’s fresh digs, but honestly? No rush. Coz this is pretty good already.
