After walking up and down the busy streets around Canggu, pit stop at The Loft. Their space design is wide open, with almost half of their tables al fresco and there are no walls to separate the interior sections from the outside areas. This results in an effortless flow that allows the cafe’s vibe to radiate out from its core all the way to the street. It creates a very inviting atmosphere which we were drawn into.
Most of the seating allows you to face outwards, looking towards the street – which makes it a perfect spot to people watch. During the day, when the sun grows intense, they do pull down a shade so people don’t get bothered by the bright light. However we recommend going to the Loft right around sunset to be able to fully enjoy their incredible view. You get the best of both worlds by enjoying a bit of light and seeing the space illuminated in the evening.
