Minimalist interiors paired with extravagant food. Suka Espresso’s second, newly-opened spot in Ubud, Bali, is the epitome of Instagrammable.
The food is plated in a symphony of colors from natural ingredients like avocado, mangoes, dragonfruit, passion fruit, red cabbage, and sweet potatoes. In contrast, the cafe’s overall design plays with simple and digestible tones from wood, plants, copper, and concrete. The majority of their customers are foreigners, which is probably why all of their staff speak fluent English; a good perk for wanderers. The menu is generally self explanatory, but it’s a good place to ask for recommendations because most of the staff know the menu by heart.
Our personal recommendation is to go early in the morning, bring a book, and enjoy your breakfast with flat white. Trust us, it’s one of the most peaceful moments you’ll have in town.
