Pregio is home to Kota Kinabalu’s arm of the Barista Guild of Asia. You can tell that much pride is taken in education, as the cafe is sprinkled with little corners where you can learn about coffee origins and brew methods. The Guild’s school is upstairs, where you can take classes to dive deeper into the craft. Interiors are homey and the single-origin menu has coffees imported from Ideology, an TST-based roaster from Hong Kong. Other than coffee? Have the waffles.
Pregio has a large seating area and is very family friendly. It is also conducive for sipping your coffee alone or with a book. The space is filled with windows which give an inviting and scenic view.
