Coco Espresso is a narrow cafe in Hong Kong’s busiest financial area, Central. Positioned right in the middle of steep hills, you won’t be surprised to find this cafe completely packed during a weekday. Whether it’s the morning rush, after lunch rush, or the evening rush. Its pretty much a whole day rush at Central! And Coco? They still manage to keep up with that deluge of customers everyday.
The store is very tiny and there are only about three 4-seater tables in the back of the shop. Long counters maximize the space where people come in to get their cup of coffee and go. This picture is actually already very sparse as compared to their regular traffic. You can barely move with how popular this cafe is! And they deserve all the buzz, because they really do have great coffee.
The take away cup of Coco Espresso “pops.” What do we mean? Walking down their street, you’ll actually see people holding this cup. It’s a great design with a very bold and noticeable color. Seeing this cup around Central shows how much people in this area love their store. Serving a very relatable blend of espresso which stretches out into a chocolate flavor when served as a latte, it’s a fully developed roast which makes for a full bodied mouth feel too. And the most important part? They serve a consistently good cup.
