The newly-opened Shady Acres bar in Central, Hong Kong, is one of the best places in the country for fun crowds. The name is something of a running joke in multiple movies and TV shows as a popular fake name for unknown or generic places. Run by witty and pun-loving, old school pros including bartender champions and sommeliers, they’ve managed to create a crowd that appreciates fine drinks and are very social. Inside are two bars side by side, one for cocktails and one dedicated to different wine selections. You’ll always find the place packed with people, mostly industry professionals that go there after their own bar shifts. They also have two happy hours, one is the traditional after-office time, and the other is right before midnight.
