Lampara in Makati, Philippines is changing the way people enjoy Poblacion by pairing fine food with properly crafted drinks. It seems very simple, but it’s not uncommon that smaller establishments will focus on either one or the other.

One of the things we commend about Lampara is that the owners here are very hands on, taking it to the next level by being competitive in their own expertise. One such example is resident pastry chef and co-owner, Fonso Sotero. Together with OTO’s head bartender, Kathlin Osmillo, they were recently crowned as the 2019 Philippine’s Most Experimental Bartender by Glenfiddich. This week, they’re set to compete on the world stage at Glasgow, Scotland.
